This Old House…

This Old House…

When was the last time you thought, “What a beautiful day?!” Sometimes it takes a little rain to truly appreciate the sunshine… But there’s also a lesson to be learned with rainy and stormy weather….that is, it does not last always! Yes the clouds may come and the thunder may roll….the winds may beat against you….but as long as you are built on the right foundation, you can live through the storm and see sunny days… And noticed I said, YOU and not your HOUSE… That’s because life is not about what your “brick and mortar” HOUSE is made up of or what material possessions are inside of your house…

I used to wonder about tragedies that occurred inside of certain buildings and how could God let those things happen to those sacred buildings…..but then, when I met God, I learned that those buildings made with brick and mortar were not sacred at all!…The only building, house, or temple that means something to God, is YOU…

So the question is, what is inside your house and what is your temple filled with??? If you can’t answer that question, let me encourage you to “choose ye this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” -Joshua 24:15….
